Job Overview

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a strong Financial Controller to join our Finance team for a maternity cover. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the integrity of the business’s reporting to its external stakeholders and for the internal statutory and regulatory compliance. The role primarily focuses on our US business (with offices in New York and Dayton), although support is given to the UK, Singapore and German business when required. You will work closely with our Financial Director and Financial Assistant.

Key responsibilities

  • Production and submission of monthly, bi annual and year end reports and management accounts

  • Production and review of all US corporation tax reporting requirements

  • Liaise with external tax and legal advisors for US business (and occasionally Singapore business)

  • Management of active pipeline for US business

  • Management of P&L and balance sheet

  • Management of revenue recognition

  • Management of US payroll, (and occasionally UK and Singapore payroll)

  • Management of the Financial Assistant, based in London

  • Management of insurance for the US business.

  • Review all client contracts

    Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Ideally fully ACA or CA qualified

  • Experience working within a consultancy or agency environment

  • Experience working in a global network – preferably with US and Singapore offices

  • Solid understanding of all financial processes

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work under time pressure and to multi task

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Relevant undergraduate & post-graduate degrees from a top university or equivalent
